If the problem persists while trying to open JPG files in Windows 10, we can try to uninstall the Photos app and reinstall it. We select the application, click on the advanced options and on the next screen that appears, click on the reset button. To do this, we open the Windows 10 configuration page and navigate through the Applications> Applications and features options and do scroll through the list of applications to ce which we found pictures.
But if not, the next thing we can do is reset Photos app and check if the problem was only temporary and if it is resolved.
